Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010-1 and safety standards.
• Experience with safety testing, certification, and compliance activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage product safety and compliance activities for CTD products throughout development, release, and continuing compliance.
• Partner with engineering teams to identify applicable requirements and address compliance risks.
• Analyze schematics, wiring diagrams, and system designs to identify safety concerns and recommend actions.
• Coordinate hands-on safety testing and prepare documentation for evaluations.
• Work with laboratories and certification bodies to resolve findings and support certifications.
• Maintain test reports, construction files, certificates, and records.
• Assess design changes for impact on compliance and certifications.
• Communicate requirements and promote best practices across teams.
