Job summary

Fike Corporation is seeking a Product Compliance, Engineering Support Specialist 2 in Blue Springs, MO. This role provides design support, testing oversight, and documentation for compliance across electronic assemblies and products.

You will interact with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing and Quality to implement and support compliant products, manage test equipment and procedures, and travel to customer facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years or more of specifically related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of electronic field practices, computer hardware and office productivity software.
• Familiar with IPC-A-610 and IPC-JSTD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate submittals for 3rd party approvals for electronic assemblies.
• Oversee testing required for 3rd party approvals.
• Interpret results, analyze failures and coordinate resolution.
• Coordinate technical staff in testing and validation for compliance of products for 3rd party approvals.
• Write procedures for testing and maintain records of equipment.
• Oversee testing protocol and coordinate product design validation testing.
• Coordinate product or system layout including drawings and schematics.
• Maintain and modify current products to meet customer needs.
• Manage completion of documentation and test equipment for production.
