Fike Corporation, a rapidly growing manufacturer, is hiring a Product Inspector in Blue Springs, MO. You will perform dimensional and visual inspections on components, read drawings, and document results. The role focuses on learning advanced inspection techniques and using precision equipment.

Compensation ranges from $22 to $26 per hour, depending on experience. Strong attention to detail and ability to read specifications are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years in inspection or machining.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, work orders, inspection plans and specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators).

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspection of components per specifications using tolerance-based IM&TE.
• Read drawings and inspection plans to verify conformity to requirements.
• Document inspection results and non-conformances; complete reports and LAT documents.
• Conduct in-process inspections and audits on production.
• Inspect various thread types (NPT, NPTF, UNF, API) with Go/NoGo gauges.
• Learn and use advanced inspection equipment (CMM, optical comparator).
