Job summary

Eurofins Agroscience Services in Columbia, MO is seeking an Associate Scientist to support product chemistry studies. You will use LC-UV, LC-MS/MS, GC-FID, GC-MS, ICP-MS, and IC with minimal supervision, contributing to GLP-compliant research.

You will troubleshoot equipment, perform quantitative analyses, and, when needed, serve as Study Director or Principal Analyst on projects. A Bachelor's in biology or chemistry and 2+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field; two years of related industry experience acceptable.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with LC-UV, LC-MS/MS, GC-FID, GC-MS, ICP-MS, IC.
• Familiarity with GLP environment preferred; CRO experience preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Use diverse analytical methods with minimal supervision to support product chemistry studies.
• Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and software; perform routine and non-routine maintenance.
• Perform calculations for analytical techniques including stock/standard solutions and regression.
• Operate LC-UV, LC-MS/MS, GC-FID, GC-MS, ICP-MS, and IC instrumentation.
• May function as Study Director on method development, installation, validation or other projects.
• Develop and work on GLP-guaranteed studies; ensure data collection and reporting quality.
• Monitor study procedures to ensure data accuracy.
• May supervise in a limited capacity.
