Dell Technologies invites undergraduates to join the Product & Application Security intern program in Round Rock, TX. You’ll work with the Security & Resiliency Organization to respond to product vulnerabilities and gain hands-on experience in secure software development and threat mitigation.

You’ll participate in cross-functional projects, receive mentorship, and engage with real security reports from customers and researchers.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Foundational understanding of software development practices and core information security principles.
  • Ability to engage with software engineers and cybersecurity professionals on technical topics.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proven analytical thinking and data-driven reporting capabilities.
  • Current Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Graduating December 2027 - May 2028.

Product & Application Security Intern Undergraduate Intern

The Dell Security & Resiliency organization manages security risks across all aspects of Dell’s business. You will have an excellent opportunity to influence the security culture at Dell and further develop your career.

What you’ll achieve

As a Product & Application Security intern within Dell’s Security & Resiliency Organization (SRO), you’ll be part of a global program designed to immerse you in the world of cybersecurity. You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, support Dell’s response to product vulnerabilities, and build essential skills in secure software development and threat mitigation.

This program offers:

  • Hands-On Projects: Participate in cross-functional initiatives that strengthen Dell’s vulnerability response processes.
  • Mentorship & Networking: Connect with Dell team members across the globe and receive guidance from a dedicated mentor.
  • Security Operations Exposure: Engage with real-world security reports from customers, researchers, and internal experts.
  • Structured Learning: Join weekly intern collaboration calls, technical and professional development training, and speaker series featuring SRO leaders.

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this position is: $20.70-$30.75 per hour depending on location.
