Job summary

Nextdoor is seeking a Product Finance professional to partner with product, data science, and engineering to drive growth. You will interrogate data, build dashboards, forecast user growth and revenue, and translate insights into actionable product decisions.

You\'ll own parts of quarterly outlooks, support performance reporting, and contribute to an AI-enabled, data-driven culture across our hybrid offices in the US. Strong Python and Looker skills are valued.

Qualifications

• 2-to-6 years of relevant experience in analytical / strategic roles (e.g. investment banking, consulting, business operations, or analytics at a fast-paced technology company)
• Storytelling: Excellent written and oral communication, including ability to effectively communicate complexity to a diverse group of stakeholders from the associate to C-Suite level
• Deep Dives: Experience formulating, running, and sharing complex analyses that have a strategic business impact such as time series analyses, cohort retention studies, and forecasting
• Ownership: A curious self-starter who thrives under a high level of ambiguity and autonomy; capable of incorporating larger business context into data questions
• Tools: Working knowledge of Python, including numpy, pandas, and scikit-learn; Looker experience is valued

Responsibilities

• High Impact: Partner with the broader team to identify analytical problems that drive the product roadmap and KPIs
• Insight discovery: Deliver data insights and dashboards to inform senior management decisions
• Forecasting: Lead quarterly outlooks for user growth, engagement, and monetization opportunities
• Performance management support: Assist and present weekly performance tracking and reporting
• Analytics foundation: Understand the lifecycle of analytics tooling from definition to automation
• Collaboration: Partner with data science, product, and engineering to improve data robustness
• Participate in in-person Nextdoor events and team activities
• Build in-person relationships and contribute to Nextdoor’s culture
