The Advanced Analytics team supports TransUnion’s Global Fraud Solutions and Communications Solutions businesses by transforming large-scale data, market intelligence, and emerging fraud trends into new product and revenue opportunities. The team partners across Product, Sales, Data Science, Engineering, Operations, and Client Success to strengthen existing solutions and develop innovative capabilities that help organizations identify and prevent fraud. This role will report to the Senior Director of Solutions Consulting. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in‑person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Serve as a strategic analytics partner across the Global Fraud Solutions and Communications Solutions businesses, using data and market insights to influence product strategy, innovation, and go‑to‑market decisions.
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify customer needs, emerging fraud trends, product opportunities, and potential areas for revenue growth.
Partner across business units to evaluate and prioritize high‑value market opportunities based on customer demand, market potential, available data, and strategic alignment.
Lead research into evolving fraud vectors, attack methodologies, and market needs to identify opportunities for new or enhanced fraud‑prevention capabilities.
Develop analytical frameworks, proofs of concept, and data‑driven recommendations that validate potential use cases and support product investment decisions.
Support the design and testing of next‑generation fraud solutions, including pilot programs focused on advanced phone scam detection and prevention.
Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations for Product, Sales, Data Science, Engineering, Operations, and Client Success stakeholders.
Develop analytical approaches and tools that improve the sales lifecycle by helping teams identify opportunities, demonstrate solution value, and support customer conversations.
Independently navigate ambiguous business questions, establish an analytical approach, and move initiatives from initial research through recommendation and execution.
Present findings and recommendations to technical and non‑technical audiences to build alignment and influence product and business direction.
At least 8 years of experience in analytics, product analytics, fraud analytics, consulting, data science, strategy, or a related field, with demonstrated success translating complex information into actionable business recommendations.
Experience analyzing large and complex datasets to identify trends, evaluate opportunities, and support product or commercial decisions.
Proven ability to independently structure ambiguous business problems, develop an analytical approach, and move work forward with limited direction.
Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across technical, product, commercial, and operational teams.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex analytical findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, transforming, and analyzing large datasets.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, modeling, and communicating findings.
Experience using large‑scale data platforms and analytical tools to develop repeatable analyses, frameworks, or proofs of concept.

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $100,100.00 - $150,000.00 annually.

At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job‑related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.
Regular, fulltime non‑sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long‑term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
