Summary

The Product Analyst supports product development by gathering and refining user and stakeholder requirements, translating them into actionable development tasks, and assisting in backlog management, documentation, and product testing. This role serves as a liaison between subject matter experts (SMEs), end users, UX designers, and the development team—ensuring the product reflects real-world needs and supports operational goals.

The ideal candidate is passionate about improving operational workflows and user experiences—particularly within a healthcare environment—by helping build tools that are intuitive, reliable, and impactful. Key Responsibilities

Requirements and Backlog Management

  • Participate in meetings with SMEs, end users, and stakeholders to document requirements, workflows, and improvement opportunities.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, structured user stories and acceptance criteria in the product backlog.
  • Maintain backlog by refining, updating, and prioritizing tasks in collaboration with the Product Manager and Development Manager.
  • Assist in creating process maps, workflow diagrams, and project documentation as needed.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Act as a liaison between end users, SMEs, and the application development team to ensure accurate understanding of needs.
  • Coordinate with UX designers to ensure user needs are well represented in wireframes and design decisions.
  • Work closely with developers to clarify requirements and resolve questions during the build process.
  • Gather informal feedback from stakeholders to help inform product direction and updates.

Agile Process Support

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and stand ups.
  • Ensure developers have the information they need to work efficiently and unblock tasks.
  • Document sprint progress and assist with status reporting and coordination.

Testing and Validation

  • S upport user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring features meet user requirements.
  • Perform issue triage and coordinate resolution with developers during QA and UAT phases.
  • Assist with documentation and internal training materials for product rollouts.

Execution and Support

  • Monitor assigned product initiatives to ensure timely progress and follow-up on outstanding items.
  • Track tickets, issues, and bugs, working with the development team to resolve them quickly.
  • Provide user support during and after rollout, helping teams adopt new tools and features.
  • Assist with process improvement efforts by identifying recurring issues or inefficiencies.

Data Analysis and Migration Support

  • Support data mapping, cleanup, and translation tasks using Excel or SQL (e.g., Snowflake).
  • Collaborate with developers on interim data tools during system migrations.
  • Assist in tracking data issues and ensuring clean integration with downstream systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business , Healthcare, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 1– 2 years of experience in product, business analysis, or implementation support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills .
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including a strong working knowledge of Excel.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies preferred.
  • Strong organizational and task management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Experience in healthcare or enterprise software environments is preferred.

Working Style

  • Highly collaborative; works closely with Product Managers, Developers, UX Designers, and Stakeholders.
  • Proactive in identifying blockers, surfacing issues, and supporting continuous improvement.
  • Adaptable and responsive to evolving team needs and project priorities.
