Product Researcher

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical and innovative Product Researcher to join our team. In this role, you will investigate user needs, analyze market trends, and provide actionable insights to drive the development and improvement of our software products. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to shape user-centric and competitive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and usability testing.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor products, and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and validate concepts.
  • Create detailed research reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Develop personas, user journey maps, and use cases to guide product development.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and software development practices.
  • Collaborate with the product manager to define the product roadmap
  • Use ProdPad to record user feedback & create ideas for development

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Market Research, or Business).
  • 2+ years of experience in product research, user research, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of research methodologies (quantitative and qualitative) and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles and user experience design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience working with agile teams.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and research tools (e.g., Hotjar, UserTesting, or similar).
  • Knowledge of programming or scripting languages is a plus.
