Location: Minneapolis, MN area - primarily remote with periodic onsite collaboration
Duration: 6-month contract with strong potential for conversion to permanent employment

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Analyst to support Member Management and Omnichannel capabilities within an evolving enterprise product organization.
This role will help create a more cohesive experience for managing member interactions, communications, coordination, and progression through a complex lifecycle. Today, interactions may occur across multiple systems and channels, including CRM, email, phone, text/SMS, and digital experiences. The Product Analyst will help evaluate current-state workflows, identify gaps and opportunities, assess platform capabilities, and define solutions that improve communication, coordination, visibility, routing, and overall lifecycle management.
This is not a traditional reporting/data analyst role, a documentation-focused Business Analyst role, or a Product Owner role focused primarily on backlog administration. The Product Analyst works alongside Product Managers and Product Owners and supports the full product development lifecycle, from early discovery and solution exploration through requirements, delivery, launch readiness, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
The ideal candidate brings a strong product mindset and can take ambiguous or complex business needs, investigate the underlying problem, evaluate potential solutions and platform capabilities, perform fit/gap analysis, and translate findings into clear recommendations and actionable requirements for product and engineering teams.
Experience with the Salesforce ecosystem is highly preferred, with Salesforce Health Cloud particularly relevant to this product area. However, strong product analysis, learning agility, complex workflow experience, and the ability to navigate ambiguity are more important than experience with a specific platform.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working as a Product Analyst, Product Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst within a product organization, or similar product-focused functional/solution analysis role.
- Experience supporting products or platforms across multiple stages of the product development lifecycle, including upstream discovery and solution definition as well as downstream requirements and delivery.
- Strong experience with business and functional analysis, including requirements elicitation, process/workflow analysis, fit/gap analysis, solution evaluation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Demonstrated ability to take an ambiguous business problem and independently investigate, structure, and evaluate potential solutions.
- Experience analyzing complex user journeys, workflows, handoffs, interactions, or lifecycle processes.
- Experience partnering directly with Product Managers, Product Owners, business stakeholders, architects, and Agile/engineering teams.
- Ability to evaluate existing platform capabilities and determine whether needs can be addressed through configuration or existing functionality versus requiring new/custom development.
- Strong learning agility with the ability to quickly understand complex business processes, platforms, integrations, and organizational nuances.
- Experience operating successfully in environments where requirements, processes, roles, or ways of working are not fully defined or are actively evolving.
- Strong facilitation, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely across product, business, and technical teams.
- Ability to participate in periodic onsite workshops, ideation sessions, whiteboarding, and collaborative working sessions in the Minneapolis/Twin Cities area.
Highly Preferred Qualifications
- Functional experience within the Salesforce ecosystem, including analyzing business requirements against Salesforce platform capabilities.
- Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, particularly case/caseload management, member/patient/customer journeys, engagement, or workflow capabilities.
- Experience performing Salesforce fit/gap analysis and identifying opportunities to use standard/out-of-the-box functionality rather than immediately defaulting to customization.
- Experience with omnichannel capabilities, including coordinating experiences across channels such as CRM, phone/contact center, email, SMS/text, and digital.
- Experience analyzing customer, member, patient, or other complex lifecycle journeys, particularly where successful outcomes depend on communication, scheduling, coordination, handoffs, and progression through multiple stages.
- Healthcare, health-tech, payer, provider, patient/member engagement, care coordination, or similar complex service-delivery experience.
- Experience working within a product operating-model or Agile transformation, including evolving Product Manager, Product Owner, Product Analyst, and Scrum-team responsibilities.
- Experience helping build or evolve products, platforms, processes, or capabilities in environments without fully mature structures or established ways of working.
Additional Preferred / Bonus Experience
- Salesforce Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Service Cloud, or other Salesforce platform experience.
- Ability to create lightweight wireframes, mockups, journey maps, prototypes, or visual concepts using Figma, Miro, AI-assisted prototyping tools, or similar technologies.
- Experience visualizing complex workflows or experiences to help stakeholders react to and refine potential solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the full product lifecycle, including discovery, opportunity assessment, solution exploration, requirements definition, delivery readiness, launch readiness, adoption, and optimization.
- Analyze complex customer/member/patient journeys and workflows involving communication, coordination, scheduling, handoffs, routing, case or caseload management, and lifecycle progression.
- Help identify opportunities to create a more cohesive omnichannel experience across digital, email, phone, text/SMS, CRM, and other interaction channels.
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Agile delivery teams, business stakeholders, architects, and technology partners.
- Investigate ambiguous or complex business problems and translate them into clearly defined needs, options, recommendations, and product requirements.
- Conduct fit/gap analysis to determine how business and user needs align with existing product or platform capabilities and where additional solutions may be necessary.
- Evaluate potential solutions across user needs, current-state workflows, operational feasibility, platform capabilities, financial considerations, dependencies, and business value.
- Help determine the right solution, rather than simply documenting requirements provided by others.
- Evaluate opportunities to leverage out-of-the-box platform capabilities before recommending custom development, particularly within Salesforce environments.
- Translate discovery and solution decisions into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and other documentation needed for Agile delivery.
- Support Product Owners and engineering/delivery teams as solutions move from discovery into implementation.
- Identify dependencies, risks, blockers, open decisions, and downstream impacts and communicate them clearly to product and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate conversations across business and technical teams to establish shared understanding and drive decisions.
- Support launch readiness and help evaluate product adoption, outcomes, and opportunities for continued optimization.
- When helpful, create lightweight mockups, prototypes, journey maps, workflow visualizations, or visual concepts to demonstrate potential experiences and accelerate stakeholder alignment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The strongest candidate combines enterprise-level experience with a builder mentality. You are comfortable working in a "well-established startup" environment where there is significant organizational complexity but not always a mature process or predefined answer.
You can enter an unfamiliar and fragmented problem space, understand how users move through a complex journey, identify breakdowns across systems, channels, workflows, and handoffs, and help determine what the solution should be and why.
You are equally comfortable working upstream with Product Managers and stakeholders to explore problems and potential solutions and downstream with Product Owners and Agile teams to translate those decisions into requirements and executable work.
You do not need every preferred technology or industry qualification listed above. The ability to learn quickly, navigate ambiguity, think critically, perform meaningful solution analysis, and become productive in a complex environment is more important than checking every technology box.
This opportunity is expected to begin as a contract engagement with a strong intention to convert to permanent employment, so candidates interested in a longer-term opportunity are strongly preferred.
