Job Summary: Responsible for providing customers with prompt and courteous service and assistance, replenishing and stocking merchandise, and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and fully organized.

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet customers and provide an exceptional customer service experience.
  2. Answer questions, suggest promotional items, and provide product information.
  3. Process payments by totaling purchases; handling checks, cash, and credit cards.
  4. Process customer refunds courteously and professionally.
  5. Manage merchandise shipments.
  6. Assist with store upkeep.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Must have English equestrian experience.
  2. Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  3. Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management.
  5. Telephone etiquette.
  6. Ability to multi-task while being attentive to customers.
  7. Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independently.
  8. This position involves constant movement, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for most of the shift. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
  9. Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
  10. Available to work a variety of hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  11. High school diploma or equivalent, or in pursuit of a diploma.
  12. Team player and problem solver.
