Job summary

Boeing South Carolina is seeking an Associate or Experienced Product Acceptance Specialist to join the Quality Team in North Charleston on a variable shift. You will verify conformance, provide evidence, and participate in audits to ensure product quality for carbon fiber widebody aircraft.

Role requires 1+ year in aerospace or manufacturing and 1+ year in inspection, with ability to work onsite and on different shifts.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience.
  • 1+ year as Quality Inspector or similar inspection role.
  • Ability to walk stairs and bend frequently, and work any shift.

Responsibilities

  • Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.
  • Provides objective evidence of results.
  • Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies.
  • Segregates and controls non-conforming items.
  • Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
  • Conducts product review with customer during verification.
  • Identifies repetitive non-conformances and initiates corrective actions.

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)

is currently seeking an Associate or Experienced Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B/C) to join the Quality Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on a variable shift!

Position Responsibilities

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our Boeing South Carolina (BSC) site.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.

  • 120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • 1+ year of aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience.
  • 1+ year of experience as Quality Inspector or in a related inspection role within a similar industry
  • Must be able to walk up/downstairs and bend/stoop frequently.
  • Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience identifying engineering characteristics on product and utilizing calibrated equipment to measure and report results
  • 787 Program Experience.
  • Experience in a team environment.
  • Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.

This position is for a variable shift. Variable shift means you will be placed on a shift at the time of hire based on business needs at that time. You will remain on that shift until re-evaluation of the need.
