Work Arrangement: This is a remote position that supports our office located at Chicago, IL. Computer equipment will be provided by the company upon hire.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Performs activities to generate new business through community involvement, association events, networking opportunities, making phone calls, holding face-to-face meetings, and conducting presentations.
  • Develops a pipeline of potential clients by growing professional relationships and nurturing a solid referral base.
  • Manages the sales cycle from start to finish through active listening, negotiation, and closing new business.
  • Fosters a collaborative working dynamic with team members for effective communication and support throughout the sales process.
  • Conducts a policy review and engages with probing questions to develop a thorough understanding of the clients’ needs and recommend coverages.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with all agency personnel through positive interactions, effective communication, and ensures follow through of set expectations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 2+ years sales experience. Property & Casualty or Life & Health Insurance license a plus!
  • Experience selling managed payroll and HR consulting a plus!
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, results driven self-starter.
  • High-level of interpersonal skills with a client-service focused mind-set.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • Quick learner that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and follow through on set expectations.
  • Solutions driven problem-solving skills and proven analytical skills.

Pay Range: $50,000 - $75,000 base + commission.

A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
