Marsh McLennan Agency in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Business Insurance Producer. You will prospect and convert leads into opportunities, tailor insurance solutions, and manage executive-level client relationships while coordinating with practice-group teams.

The role favors a Bachelor degree, 5+ years B2B sales, and licenseing in P&C or Life & Health with CE requirements. Strong presentation and organizational skills are essential for success in a results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• 5 years external B2B sales with demonstrated sales successes preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain P&C and/or Life & Health license and meet CE requirements.
• Highly motivated to generate and sell new business and retain clients.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to meet client expectations.
• Strong organizational, time management and presentation skills.
• Be assertive yet consultative with a positive, competitive attitude.

A day in the life.

As our Producer on the Business Insurance team, you'll prospect, develop leads into qualified opportunities, recommend solutions to meet the clients' expectations, and manage the executive-level client relationships while appropriately delegating daily activities to practice group team-members as appropriate. These activities are accomplished by building client relationships and consultative sales skills while utilizing the MMA sales model and value-added resources.

• Bachelor degree preferred
• 5 years of external business-to-business (B2B) sales with demonstrated sales successes preferred
• Must be able to obtain and maintain P&C and/or Life & Health insurance license, and successfully meet all Continuing Education requirements for insurance license
• Highly motivated to generate and sell new business and ensure high rate of client retention
• Communicate and work effectively with other departments to meet the clients' expectations
• Possess excellent organizational, time management and presentation skills
