Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Business Insurance Producer in Lincoln, NE to drive new business, develop leads into qualified opportunities, and advise clients on tailored insurance solutions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (preferred), 5 years of external B2B sales with proven success, and the ability to obtain and maintain P&C and Life & Health licenses with CE requirements. Strong relationship, presentation, and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• 5 years of external business‑to‑business (B2B) sales with demonstrated sales successes preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain P&C and/or Life & Health insurance license, and successfully meet all Continuing Education requirements for insurance license
• Highly motivated to generate and sell new business and ensure high rate of client retention
• Communicate and work effectively with other departments to meet the clients' expectations
• Possess excellent organizational, time management and presentation skills
• Balance the need to be assertive yet consultative with a positive and competitive attitude

A day in the life.

As our Producer on the Business Insurance team, you'll prospect, develop leads into qualified opportunities, recommend solutions to meet the clients' expectations, and manage the executive-level client relationships while appropriately delegating daily activities to practice group team-members as appropriate. These activities are accomplished by building client relationships and consultative sales skills while utilizing the MMA sales model and value-added resources.
