Nexstar Media Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled News Producer to help deliver accurate, engaging local and national news content across its FOX 5/KUSI brands.
You will produce and booth assigned newscasts, craft stories and headlines, and collaborate with anchors, reporters and editors to ensure top-quality coverage. The role requires a Bachelor's in Journalism, at least 3 years in a working newsroom, and the ability to work under pressure, with strong news judgment and leadership within a team.
Daily production of a quality news product as defined by the FOX 5/KUSI brands. Accuracy, excellence in production techniques, writing, story treatment, relevance to the viewing audience, and ability to generate ratings.
Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or related field is desired. Minimum 3 years relevant line producing experience in working newsroom.
Compensation – Starting at $29/hr commensurate with experience and skill level #LI-Onsite
