Job summary

Meijer is seeking a warehouse associate to ensure product integrity from receiving through storage and final shipment. This full-time role requires weekend availability and a 1pm shift in a temperature-controlled environment (35-45 degrees).

You will fulfill store orders, coordinate with third-party vendors and loaders, and maintain quality and safety standards during transfer and storage. Strong teamwork and attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Intermediate computer / technology skills.
• Ability to lift 10-60 lbs. constantly during the shift
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior warehouse experience helpful.
• Ability to maintain an excellent attendance and work record.
• Must possess good listening and communication skills.
• Must possess good interpersonal skills, relate well to others and be able to build and sustain effective work relationships.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Takes pride in a job well done.

Responsibilities

Responsible for complete product integrity during its stay at the distribution center, from the receiving process, through movement and storage within the warehouse, to final store shipment. Ensures that all products appropriately handled, using knowledge of quality and temperature standards.
