Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking motivated Team Members for our perishable building in Pleasant Prairie, WI. You will help ensure order accuracy and inventory control while working with drivers and unloaders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining product quality, temperature controls, sanitation, and safety alongside a collaborative team. Prior warehouse experience is helpful, and Meijer offers development and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Intermediate computer/technology skills required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Warehouse experience helpful but not required.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure order and inventory accuracy using established processes.
• Coordinate with truck drivers and unloaders for receiving and shipping of Fresh and Frozen foods.
• Maintain quality and temperature standards during transfer and storage.
• Follow inventory control practices to meet Meijer standards.
• Complete receiving, order, and shipping processes accurately.
• Maintain sanitation standards and 200% safety accountability.
• Support duties as assigned.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Ensures order & inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Works with truck drivers and unloaders while performing receiving and shipping processes for Fresh and Frozen foods.
• Ensures quality and temperature standards for all products are maintained during a safe transfer and storage process.
• Follows established inventory control practices to ensure all Meijer standards are met.
• Accurately completes receiving-order-shipping processes.
• Ensures building sanitation standards are consistently maintained.
• Practices 200% safety accountability.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent
