Job summary

SpartanNash in Fargo, ND seeks an Order Selector to complete customer orders by picking products from warehouse racks and preparing pallets for shipment. You may operate powered industrial equipment and work in multi-temperature areas, including dry, refrigerated, and frozen zones.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, prior order selecting and equipment experience, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior order selecting experience preferred.
• Prior experience operating power industrial equipment preferred.
• Must perform assigned tasks accurately while meeting production standards in a fast-paced warehouse operation.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature areas as assigned.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Locate and lift cases, boxes, bags, and/or pallets of dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy products, produce, poultry, fish, beef, pork and related products in specific quantities for delivery to customers by using order sheets or an audio headset.
• Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g. single and double pallet jacks).
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including conducting inspections of powered industrial equipment using a safety checklist.
• Report damaged products, quality issues, and out-of-stock/low volume products.
• Utilize proper wrapping techniques to ensure safety of product to prevent damages.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
