Job summary

SpartanNash in Fargo, ND seeks a full-time warehouse associate to unload trucks, break down pallets, and support sanitation, inventory control and related tasks. This role requires physical handling of products and operating warehouse equipment in a multi-temperature distribution center.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate quantities, loading and labeling, maintaining safety standards, and assisting with selection orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (Preferred) or equivalent preferred.
• One year warehouse experience preferred.
• Prior experience operating power industrial equipment preferred.
• Able to perform essential functions for 8-10 hour shifts.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, days/evening hours, and overtime.
• Ability to understand English and read order forms/labels.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Able to operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Follow safety policies and work in multi-temperature areas.

Responsibilities

• Unload products from trucks; break down pallets and stack on pallets.
• Move cases, boxes, and pallets to warehouse racks and pick slots.
• Assist with sanitation duties and cleaning duties in the warehouse.
• Fuel, wash, and/or clean semi-trucks/trailers as assigned.
• Check product for damage and verify quantities received per PO.
• Assist with selection orders; assemble, palletize and label for customer orders.
• Lift 30-60 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report issues.
• Operate pallet jacks and related equipment as needed.
• Report out-of-stock or low-volume products and follow safety protocols.
• Rotate products and assist with other duties as assigned.
