Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Produce Team Member to support receiving, stocking, display maintenance, and customer service on the Produce floor. The role emphasizes accurate product handling and maintaining vibrant, clean displays in accordance with WFM standards.

You will work with a team to ensure proper shelving, price accuracy, and timely replenishment while upholding health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• No retail experience required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to learn WFM procedures.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh and appealing displays by keeping cases stocked and front-facing.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Delivers excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper stocking, rotating, and merchandising practices.
• Follows procedures for health, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; keeps equipment in good condition.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
