Job summary

Whole Foods Market Birmingham is seeking a capable team member to maintain fresh, attractive displays and stock shelves for a fast-paced department. You will assist with seasonal items, ensure product rotation, and deliver friendly customer service while following safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Keeps cases and shelves clean and well stocked; checks codes and rotates stock.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, well-groomed, and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques; answers phones promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
