Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Mount Pleasant, SC seeks a Team Leader-level individual to assist the Team Leader in daily operations, driving profitability, labor management, and regulatory compliance. You will lead and develop Team Members, ensure friendly service, and uphold store SOPs while supporting store programs and safety regulations.

You will manage merchandising, vendor relations, and performance evaluations, while maintaining high standards of retail execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains creative store layout and product merchandising.
• Works with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Assists Team Leader in analysis of sales, reports and labor.
• Demonstrates advanced product knowledge and develops awareness of new products.
• Maintains vendor relationships and ensures paperwork for vendor processing is submitted.
• Works with Team Leader to resolve team concerns or issues.
• Functions as point person and departmental lead in absence of Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters a positive environment of teamwork, mutual respect, and morale.
• Maintains awareness of customer flows and directs Team Members to satisfy customers.
