Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Highland Village, TX is seeking a Team Leader Assistant role supporting daily operations, merchandising, profitability and regulatory compliance. You will lead and develop Team Members and help ensure top-notch customer service while upholding health and safety standards.

In this role you will analyze sales and labor with the Team Leader, manage vendor relations, train staff, and maintain high standards of retail execution.

Qualifications

• 18+ months retail Team Member experience
• 6+ months supervisory experience
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical duties
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains creative store layout and product merchandising.
• Works with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Assists Team Leader in analysis of sales, reports and labor.
• Demonstrates advanced product knowledge and awareness of new products.
• Maintains vendor relationships and ensures paperwork is submitted for vendor processing.
• Leads in absence of Team Leader and ensures high retail execution standards.
• Directs Team Members to satisfy and delight customers and respond to needs.
