Job summary

Kimberton Whole Foods in Downingtown is seeking a part-time Produce Stocker to join our team. The role requires 16+ years old, weekend and evening availability, and a friendly, customer-focused approach to stocking fresh produce.

Responsibilities include receiving and stocking produce, keeping displays fresh and organized, providing helpful service at the front end, and ensuring accurate scanning and bagging of groceries.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds frequently.
• Ability to work a schedule including Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays as posted.

Kimberton Whole Foods in Downingtown is looking for a part-time Produce Stocker!

Set Schedule:

Part-time, up to 24 hours per week.

• Sundays 7am-1:30pm
• Mondays 3:30pm-8:30pm
• Thursdays 3:30pm-8:30pm
• Fridays 3:30pm-8:30pm

Pay:

$14- $16/hr depending on experience

Age Requirement:

Must be 16 years or older.

DAILY OPERATIONS:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all.
• Receiving and stocking all incoming fresh produce and related items according to our SOP.
• Maintain abundant, dynamic, and fresh displays throughout the entire department.
• Assist the Front End by scanning customers' groceries and completing all transactions efficiently. Carefully and efficiently bags groceries.

Requirements

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

• Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.
• Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.
• Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
• Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
• Standing- prolonged standing.
• Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).
• Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
