Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot in Waterbury, CT is seeking a Stocker - Produce to support the Produce department and ensure shelves are stocked and organized.

Responsibilities include stocking products, maintaining clean and safe work areas, following HACCP guidelines, checking prices, and assisting in inventory rotation to prevent shrinkage. This is a physical, fast-paced role with union benefits.

• Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service.
• Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves.
• Organizes and front faces items on shelves
• Performs the proper inspections to meet HACCP regulations
• Assists in the review of inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages.
• Ensures that shelf pricing is correct and reflects the most recent pricing
• Follows program to maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse and safety by cleaning and organizing pallets
