Job summary

Weis Markets is hiring for a Produce Department member at 305 River Avenue, ready to greet customers and keep fresh fruit and vegetables well stocked. You will assist with displays, monitor pricing, and help with deliveries as trained. Training is provided and growth opportunities exist within a family-oriented grocery chain.

No prior experience required; a high school diploma or GED is preferred, and a strong focus on safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keeps produce department stocked and appealing to meet customer demands.
• Greets customers, answers questions, and handles special requests politely.
• Unpacks and trims produce, rotates stock to keep items fresh.
• Ensures pricing and signage are correct for all products.
• Maintains salad bar and prepared fruit/vegetable displays.
• Assists in building attractive displays and keeping logs up to date.
• Supports sanitation and cleaning schedules to meet health standards.
• May assist with receiving deliveries and other duties as trained.
