Responsibilities

• Keeps produce department well stocked and appealing to meet customer demands.
• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions, handles special requests, and resolves concerns professionally.
• Unpacks cartons and trims produce, rotates stock to ensure freshness, and prices with proper signage.
• Maintains salad bar and cut fruit/vegetable displays; assists in building attractive displays.
• Follows cleaning schedules to ensure clean, safe work areas meeting health/OSHA standards.
• Assists in minimizing shrink and reports shortages/overages to management.
• May assist with receiving, unloading, and storing deliveries; training provided.
• Ensures PPE is used properly and may assist in other departments as needed.
