Job summary

The GIANT Company in Everett, PA is seeking a Store Associate to assist with daily inventory checks, removing out-of-date items, loading pallets into the cooler, stocking and restocking items, and maintaining engaging product displays.

You will follow PPE and safety requirements, work with department leadership, and contribute to a clean, organized store environment that serves our customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand to complete duties and follow policies and safety regulations.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for this position.
• Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools required for the job.
• Must be able to perform all functions safely.
• Must meet company performance standards, including regular attendance.
• Must agree to wear proper assigned clothes and shoes.
• Must have and maintain valid specialty licenses, certificates, or permits required for the position

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies needed for duties at the start of the shift.
• Follow directions and expectations of department leadership.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
