Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Produce Clerk in Sayebrook, SC to provide outstanding guest service and maintain fresh produce on the sales floor. You will greet guests, prepare produce for display, stock and rotate products, and ensure quality throughout the shift.

The role requires physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for long periods, and maintain cleanliness in the backroom and on the floor while collaborating with team members and management.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests politely and provide friendly interactions.
• Prepare produce for display on the sales floor.
• Stock, price, rotate, and place product on displays per standards.
• Maintain freshness and quality of produce.
• Assist with unloading of product on delivery.
• Provide guest service with product knowledge and weighing.
• Maintain sanitation in backroom, cooler and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to management.
• Perform front-porch duties to avoid delays.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
