Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Produce Clerk at our King, NC location to support guest service in the produce department. You will greet guests, prepare displays, stock and rotate products, and ensure freshness and quality on the sales floor.

In this role, teamwork, reliable lifting of up to 50 lbs, and the ability to read directions are essential. You’ll help unload deliveries and maintain cleanliness in backrooms and displays while delivering helpful product knowledge to guests.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and 25 lbs constantly.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests politely and interact warmly.
• Prepare produce for display on the sales floor.
• Stock, price, rotate, and display produce per standards.
• Maintain freshness and quality of produce.
• Assist with unloading of product on delivery.
• Provide guest service with product knowledge, preparation, weighing.
• Maintain sanitation in backroom, cooler and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to management.
• Perform front-porch duties to minimize wait times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
