Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service and assist customers to find products.
• Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals and monitor quality assurance standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers; keep logs updated.
• Answer questions about products sold within the department and provide recommendations to customers.
• Position, label, stock and inventory department merchandise; inspect products for quality and freshness.
• Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager and notify management of safety risks.
