Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Produce Department associate in Statesville, NC, to deliver friendly, accurate customer service and maintain department standards. You will engage customers, help with ordering and stocking, and follow Food Lion safety and job procedures.

You will work with team members to unload trucks, display merchandise, and operate produce tools, while complying with policies, training, and local regulations. A high school diploma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Produce Department.
• Responsible for maintaining standards in accordance with the standard practice manual.
• Maximize sales through excellent customer service and minimize shrink through proper utilization of standard practice.
• Unload trucks for the Produce Department.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Maintain adherence to company guidelines, policies and standard practice.
