Job summary

You will unload deliveries, assist with ordering and stocking, and help keep the Produce area organized and compliant with company guidelines, policies, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Produce Department and maintain standards per the standard practice manual.
• Unload trucks for the Produce Department and assist with ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures; observe and correct unsafe conditions.
• Use company tools such as average cost inventory system (ACIS) and ordering (CAO) to support operations.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with apron and name badge, maintaining a neat appearance.
