Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an team member to process product deliveries and maintain the receiving area in DC. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to procedures, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities include stocking, organizing loads, and ensuring proper storage of refrigerated items, with emphasis on safety and accurate documentation of transfers and waste.

Qualifications

• Standing and walking for extended periods as part of duties.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual handling.
• Ability to use basic computer systems for logging deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Process all product deliveries and verify accuracy with invoices.
• Maintain receiving area, backstock, and cooler in good order.
• Ensure refrigerated items are stocked and properly stored.
• Communicate with team about deliveries and transfers.
• Record time, prepare paperwork, and follow safety procedures.
• Respond to department needs and participate in meetings as scheduled.
• Assist in stocking product and maintaining a neat, safe receiving area.
