Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a Produce Specialist to rework produce received into the warehouse, ensuring high quality and strict GMP compliance.

You will inspect incoming produce for defects, audit quality, cull/trim/ repack to meet standards, maintain paperwork, and assist other departments. A High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of produce QC experience are required; experience in a produce warehouse is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of previous quality control experience with produce.
• Quality control experience in a produce warehouse preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspects all incoming produce for defects.
• Audits to ensure product meets quality standards.
• Cull/trim/ repack produce to meet presentation and quality guidelines.
• Conducts routine audits to ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are practiced.
• Maintains all paperwork in an accurate, orderly fashion.
• Assists other departments as needed.
