Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking workers to grade, sort, and pack unprocessed agricultural products. You will classify by size, weight, color, and condition, while packing and weighing items for shipment. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and performing repetitive tasks in a hot, humid environment.

Prior vegetable farm experience is preferred. Applicants should be able to work under demanding conditions and follow sanitation practices to ensure product safety.

Qualifications

• Must have physical stamina for hard, strenuous labor in varying weather.
• Minimum 2 months of verifiable agricultural employment experience preferred on a vegetable farm.
• Experience handling manual and machine tasks related to commodity production and harvest activities.

Responsibilities

• Grade, sort, and classify unprocessed food and agricultural products by size, weight, color, or condition.
• Pack 8 clam shells per minute with care to avoid bruising produce.
• Weigh products or estimate weight by feel or visually.
• Record grade or identification numbers on tags and sheets.
• Package agricultural products for shipment or further processing.
