Leadership Support and Customer Experience

Provide leadership support and direction during primetime hours (3p-7p M-F; 11a-7p Sat/Sun) to drive sales and enhance the customer experience. Partner with the store leader and department leader to develop a high-performance culture where associates are aligned to the business strategy and receive the knowledge and training needed to deliver a consistently great experience for Every Customer, Every Time. Minimum Requirements

Desired Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in produce, retail, or management
  • Second language skills (speaking, reading, and/or writing)
Key Responsibilities
  • Promote trust and respect among associates with a positive attitude; communicate company, department, and job-specific information effectively.
  • Establish department performance goals and empower associates to meet or exceed targets through teamwork.
  • Ensure timely order fulfillment, work backstock, rotate products, and replenish throughout the day.
  • Train and develop associates, participate in performance appraisals.
  • Create an inviting environment for customers; answer questions, make suggestions, and locate products.
  • Inform customers of specials, offer samples, and ensure merchandising standards are maintained.
  • Plan and execute sales promotions; inform associates about current and upcoming promotions.
  • Maintain in-stock behaviors, implement promotional plans, and ensure product freshness and display cleanliness.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of backroom and prep areas, following 5S practices.
  • Coordinate inventory processes, monitor stock conditions, and train associates on inventory management and CAO.
  • Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers, keep logs, and reinforce safety procedures.
  • Report safety risks, unsafe conditions, and illegal activities; comply with all laws and company policies.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
