Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an entry-level Team Member for the Produce Department. You will assist in processing and merchandising, ensuring quality, safety, and courteous service to customers and fellow Team Members.

Responsibilities include cutting fruits and vegetables, maintaining sampling programs, and keeping the department clean while adhering to health and safety regulations. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cuts fruits and vegetables following safety and sanitation rules.
• Maintains sampling program.
• Provides excellent customer service and assists customers and Team Members.
• Maximizes sales through prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures signage and pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Attends required trainings and meetings.
