Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Novato, CA is seeking a Produce Department Team Member to perform prep and merchandising tasks. You will ensure quality, maintain sampling programs, and provide courteous, efficient service to customers and Team Members.

Responsibilities include cutting fruits/vegetables, stocking, pricing, and upholding health and safety standards while maintaining a clean department and supporting store programs.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cuts fruits and vegetables following safety rules.
• Maintains quality & prep per WFM guidelines.
• Maintains sampling program and clean department.
• Punctual, well-groomed, and attends trainings.
• Provide excellent customer service and use suggestive selling.
• Maximize sales via proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work/shopping environment; manage pricing signs.
