Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Nashville is seeking a team member to process and merchandise in the Produce department. You will ensure a positive store image with courteous, friendly service, and comply with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities include cutting and preparing fruits and vegetables, maintaining sampling and cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service while supporting store programs and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Cooks fruits and vegetables to quality standards and sanitation rules.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Maintains sampling program.
• Cleans department continuously and maintains sweep logs.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed and ready to work; attends required trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques; handles phones courteously.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including health and sanitation and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; maintains equipment safety.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures signs and pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
