Job summary

Carlie C's is seeking a Produce Manager in North Carolina to stock, slice melons, and manage the department while delivering prompt, friendly customer service. You will handle stocking, preparing, serving, and cleaning with focus on courteous interactions with customers and coworkers, with potential for bonus and advancement.

The role emphasizes working in refrigerated areas, maintaining quality, and keeping the department organized and clean. Prior produce management experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and maintain a neat appearance.
• Must enjoy working with the public.
• Previous Produce Management experience required.
• Able to stand, bend, stoop and handle up to 75 lbs.
• Able to read shelf tags, labels and signs.
• Able to write invoices and maintain paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Work in refrigerated areas.
• Deal with sudden temperature changes.
• Check produce quality and rotate stock.
• Prepare produce in a safe and orderly manner.
• Keep Sales area and back room clean and uncluttered.
• Order produce and buy locally.
• Unload truck and place items in proper cooler.
• Assist customers in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Follow Carlie C's Uniform Standards and maintain a neat appearance.
