Job summary

The Produce Manager at Jetro Cash & Carry Enterprises, Inc. oversees all aspects of the produce department, including inventory, quality control, merchandising, and staff performance to ensure freshness and sales growth.

You will manage daily operations, implement rotation and replenishment, supervise team members, coordinate displays, monitor shrink, and uphold safety standards across the department.

Qualifications

• Experience in produce, grocery, retail, or warehouse operations.
• Strong inventory control, rotation, and stock management knowledge.
• Ability to identify quality issues and ensure proper handling.
• Experience leading fast-paced teams.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory levels through proper stock control, rotation, and replenishment practices.
• Ensure all produce is handled, stored, and displayed in accordance with company and food safety standards.

• Supervise and support department staff to ensure adherence to company procedures and operational standards.
• Coordinate merchandising, signage, and product displays to support sales and customer engagement.
• Review inventory trends, shrink, and discrepancies to identify and address areas of concern.
• Support receiving processes by ensuring incoming product is properly checked for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain overall department cleanliness, organization, and compliance with applicable regulations.

Job Summary
