PRODUCE/LEAD CLERK (Finance)

Create outstanding customer experiences through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe, clean, and fresh environment that encourages our customers to return. Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department, and monitor and control all quality assurance standards. Direct and supervise all functions, duties, and activities for the Produce department. Support the day-to-day operations of Produce. Minimum Requirements:
  • 18 years of age
  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic math knowledge (counting, addition, subtraction)
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Current food handler's permit upon employment
Desired Qualifications:
  • Management experience (preferred)
  • Produce department experience
Responsibilities include:

  • Recommending produce items to customers
  • Developing and executing a business plan for the department
  • Working in refrigerated areas and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Implementing promotional merchandising plans
  • Monitoring inventory and pricing accuracy
  • Participating in inventory processes
  • Maintaining proper temperature logs and safety protocols
  • Reporting safety risks, accidents, and illegal activities
  • Performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations
