Job summary

Mastronardi Produce is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the Laredo Distribution Center. The role involves working on production lines to sort greenhouse-grown peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers, ensuring all product meets customer specifications.

Candidates should be 18+, with a preferred high school diploma, strong English, and flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position offers a refrigerated environment and opportunities for growth with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma is preferred.
• Proficient with the English language, both written and verbal.
• Available to work flexible hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays may be required).
• Be respectful and deal tactfully with co-workers, customers and vendors.
• Keep all company information confidential.
• Complete a background and drug test screening.

Responsibilities

• Learn and maintain product quality standards that meet customer specifications.
• Assist in packaging/washing set up, as needed, to ensure smooth flow of product.
• Maintain a sanitized and organized department that meets all food safety requirements.
• Must handle all sanitizing chemicals safely, as prescribed.
• Work as a valued team member with good attendance, open to training and learning and supporting all co-workers to ensure production goals are met.
