Food Lion in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Produce Department Manager to lead daily operations, hire and develop staff, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced grocery setting.

You will manage labor, scheduling, training, and safety standards to meet budget and drive sales while maintaining department appearance and quality. Strong leadership and food-safety accountability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Good understanding of store operations preferred.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and meet technical requirements.
• Ability to lead and direct others.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must obtain a Certified Food Safety Manager accreditation within the first 90 days, or be accredited already.

• Supervise performance and provide ongoing coaching and formal appraisals.
• Daily management of labor and scheduling to meet productivity expectations.
