Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Good understanding of store operations preferred.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Ability to lead and direct others.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be certified as a Food Safety Manager or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.

• Manage the Produce Department, including hiring, training and developing department associates
• Supervise duties and provide ongoing performance management and appraisals
• Daily management of labor and coaching to meet productivity
• Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with Guiding Principles and Strategy
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results
• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive shopping experience
• Ensure department appearance, quality, and safety standards
• Understand scheduling, wage percent, and inventory systems
• Maintain compliance with policies and local regulations
