• Schedule to manage customer volume and assist with inventory.
• Train associates and participate in performance appraisals.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers and answer product questions.
• Inform customers of produce specials and offer samples.
• Review product quality and freshness and take action when needed.
• Develop and implement a department business plan and promotional plans.
• Assist management with budget, expenses, and financial reporting.
• Plan pricing changes and update shelf tags accordingly.
• Monitor inventory and CAO processes; manage stock conditions.
• Ensure proper temperatures and maintain temperature logs.
• Support safety procedures and report safety risks.
• Adhere to laws and company guidelines, handle conflicts calmly.
