Job summary

• Develop scheduling to manage customer volume effectively.
• Train associates on performance and participate in appraisals.
• Create welcoming environment; answer questions about products.
• Inform customers of produce specials and offer samples.
• Review product quality and freshness; take action as needed.
• Create and execute a department business plan to achieve results.
• Plan and implement promotions with store management.
• Inform staff about promotions and how they affect the department.
• Assist in budget, expense control and P&L reviews.
