Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of retail experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and bookkeeping skills.
• Good organization, prioritization, decision-making, problem solving and conflict management skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with capability to work in a hands-on environment.
• Good strategic planning and business acumen skills.
• Knowledge of retail store operations and retail management systems.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Spanish language ability may be desirable depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day department operations in the store in the absence of the department manager.
• Order and maintain inventory, minimize loss, ensure product freshness.
• Review incoming orders for quality and accuracy, store appropriately.
• Manage a team for stocking, production, and related tasks to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Maintain familiarity with store products and promotions.
• Communicate weekly plans and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Support scheduling, labor control, overtime, and payroll for the department.
• Uphold safety, PPE, food safety, and guest experience guidelines.
• Attend daily huddles and meetings as required.
